Kendrick Lamar may well have blended up Haley Joel Osment and Joel Osteen on his new observe, “Euphoria.”
“Am I battlin’ ghosts or AI? N— feelin’ like Joel Osteen / Amusing, he was in a movie identified as A.I. / And my sixth sense tellin’ me to off him,” Lamar raps in the song, which was unveiled on Tuesday, April 30.
While Lamar title-dropped Osteen, he was seemingly referring to Osment’s The Sixth Perception and A.I. Artificial Intelligence characters.
Osteen, for his section, was not in the films he’s a televangelist who manufactured headlines in 2017 when he gained backlash for his Lakewood Church’s reaction to Hurricane Harvey.
Considering that the tune dropped, lovers have taken to social media to respond to the apparent swap-up.
“I just would like I was in the room as a film professional to permit Kendrick know that he blended up Joel Osteen (the televangelist preacher) with Haley Joel Osment (the youngster actor who starred in A.I. and The 6th Feeling) other than that however? No notes. 9/10. Insanity,” just one consumer wrote by using X.

Lamar’s track also made headlines when he took shots at Drake in their most current again-and-forth diss monitor battle.
“Them tremendous powers gettin’ neutralized, I can only look at in silence / The famous actor we after knew is lookin’ paranoid and now is spiralin’ / You movin’ just like a degenerate, hefty antic, it’s feelin’ distasteful / Why determine you, not as calculated, I can even predict your angles,” Lamar raps in the 1st verse.
“Euphoria” came months immediately after Drake introduced a due to the fact-deleted observe “Taylor Manufactured Freestyle” before this month, where by he named Lamar a “coward.” In the tune, Drake employed AI-created vocals from Tupac Shakur — which Lamar took purpose at.
“Somebody experienced explained to that me you bought a ring, on God, I’m all set to double the wage / I instead do that, than enable a Canadian n— make Pac transform in his grave,” Lamar’s lyrics go through.
Lamar also mentions J. Cole in his tune, who performed a role in the feud amongst Lamar and Drake when he called them the “big three” in his song “First Human being Shooter.”
“Yeah, Cole and Aubrey know I’m a selfish n— / The crown is heavy, huh / I pray they my serious good friends, if not, I’m YNW Melly / I do not like you poppin’ s–t, that s–t for authentic, I inherit the beef,” he says in the first verse. “Yeah, f–k all that pushin’ P, let me see you drive-a-T / You superior off spinnin’ once again on him, you believe about pushin’ me?”
